| Staff |
|
The teaching staff at Liberty Park Child Development Center has a genuine love for children
and a desire to provide educational experiences that will give the students every opportunity
to succeed in their future. The staff at Liberty Park Child Development Center has all completed
the basic training course for STARS (Statewide Training And Resource System) and they receive
at least 10 hours of additional training annually. All staff members hold current First Aid
and CPR cards. The staff has received Blood Borne Pathogens/HIV training and they hold current
food handler’s permits.

The Center has served the East Central community in Spokane for 30 years. This community has
the highest concentration of minorities and immigrants in Spokane County. Operating within this
multicultural setting, the Center serves a diverse group of Russian, Hmong, and Hispanic, Native
American, African American and Caucasian families. |

The Center is governed
by a Board of Directors and is a mission outreach program for the
Presbytery of the Inland Northwest.
