Pre-School Program
(Explorers) |
Our preschool program serves children 3-5 years old. The curriculum is theme based and
provides a variety of activities that promote kindergarten readiness. Children experience
large and small group activities as well as individualized attention. The students are
provided with learning opportunities in literacy and language development, math, science
and social studies. The preschool program is a structured early childhood education program
that coordinates with the half day ECEAP sessions so that families may use both programs when
child care is needed all day. The morning session of preschool offers a curriculum that uses
the Christian faith as a basis of education. Bible stories and religious children’s music and
activities are incorporated into the learning experience. The afternoon session does not
incorporate religion into the lessons provided.

during the school year and serves children attending Grant Elementary school. The school
age children get a nutritious afterschool snack. The students complete homework assignments
with the help of the staff or read. The students receive training in Positive Action,
Second Step and Strengthening Families. All of which provide the students with skills needed
to resist the influences of negative peer pressure and avoid drug, alcohol and substance
abuse. School age children participate in indoor and outdoor games, sports, arts and

| Summer Programs |
Our summer programs aim to provide children with a summer
full of friendship and fun, the opportunity to explore new places and
the freedom of being outdoors. Pre-school and school age children
participate in separate programs that are age appropriate. Our summer
programs provide a positive outdoor experience, while giving kids a
chance to go on field trips, learn to get along with others, have fun
swimming, playing games, sports, and doing arts and crafts projects. |
